The last day for completing the online applications for the 'CM SHRI Admission Test 2025' for classes 6, 7, and 8 has been postponed to August 22, the Delhi government stated in a circular issued on Tuesday. Previously, the Directorate of Education's circular stated that the deadline for form submission was August 15.

The date of the CM SHRI Admission Test for the academic year 2025-2026 has also been changed from August 30 to September 6, the circular stated.

How to apply for the CM SHRI Admission Test 2025?

To fill out the application form, candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Delhi Directorate of Education at edudel.nic.in.

Step 2: After this, click on the CM SHRI Schools Admission Test- 2025 option and then select the "Click here to apply for CM SHRI School Admission Test 2025" link.

Step 3: Now, fill out the necessary details, upload the necessary documents and then submit.

Step 4: Download the confirmation page and take a printout of the same for further reference.

Note: The documents required during the application process are the child’s Aadhaar card or birth certificate, last year’s mark sheet, residence proof (ration card, voter ID, electricity bill, etc.), passport-size photo, transfer certificate (if applicable), caste certificate (if applicable), etc.

CM Shri Admission Test 2025: Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

1. Children living in Delhi who are currently enrolled in classes 5, 6, or 7 at recognised schools (government, government-aided, or private).

2. Students from government or government-aided institutions (DoE, MCD, NDMC, Kendriya Vidyalaya, and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya) are guaranteed at least 50% of the seats.

3. SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) and differently abled youngsters will be granted a 5% reduction in qualifying scores.

The CM Shri School is a one-of-a-kind program launched by the Delhi government to renovate government schools with advanced amenities and give quality education on par with private institutions. These schools follow the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and are designed after the central government's PM Shri schools.
