On the occasion of Independence Day, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given great news for the youth of the state. Now, the candidates preparing for government jobs in Bihar will not have to pay huge fees to appear in competitive examinations. The CM has announced that the fee for the preliminary (PT) examination will be only Rs 100, while no fee will be charged from the candidates appearing in the main examination.

The Chief Minister made this announcement through the social media platform 'X'. He said that the goal of the state government is to provide government jobs and employment opportunities to as many youth as possible, so that their future can be secured. In this direction, now the fees for competitive examinations conducted by all the commissions - Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC), Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC), Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission, and Central Constable Selection Council have been made uniform.

Uniform fee
Earlier, where candidates had to pay different fees for the examinations of different commissions, now this burden will be reduced to a great extent. The Chief Minister said that the objective of the government is to give the youth an opportunity to move ahead in competition by freeing them from financial constraints.

Only benefits for students
This decision of the state government will directly benefit lakhs of youth. Especially students from rural and economically weaker families, who earlier had difficulty in paying high examination fees, will now be able to apply easily. The Chief Minister hoped that this initiative would increase the enthusiasm of the youth and that they will work harder to achieve their goals.

Employment opportunities
Nitish Kumar also said that his government is constantly taking concrete steps to provide employment and better opportunities to the youth. This reduction in fees is part of the same chain. This decision can change the competitive examination scenario of Bihar to a great extent in the coming times and can open new avenues for the youth of the state.
