Rajasthan Patwari Free Bus Service: The state government has given a big relief to lakhs of candidates appearing in the Patwari Direct Recruitment Examination to be held on 17 August 2025 in Rajasthan. Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) has announced to provide free travel facility in roadways buses from 15 August to 19 August in view of the examination.

About 6.76 lakh candidates will appear in this examination, for which examination centers have been set up in 38 districts of the state. Roadways has also decided to operate 595 additional buses so that the students from far-flung areas do not face any difficulty in reaching the center.

When and how will the free bus service be available?

This free travel facility will be given to the candidates from 12 midnight on 15 August to 11:59 pm on 19 August. This facility will be valid in ordinary and express buses of Rajasthan Roadways.

Online reservation facility also available
RSRTC Chairperson Shubhra Singh informed that, given the number of candidates, Roadways has decided to run additional buses. These buses will be operated from various depots as needed.

Not only this, but an online reservation facility has also been started to provide convenience to the candidates. All zonal managers have been instructed to make full use of adequate staff, booking window, and announcement system in the depot during the examination, so that there is no problem.

Recruitment exam will be held for 3705 posts.
A total of 3705 vacant posts will be filled in the state through this Patwari Recruitment Examination conducted by the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSSB). The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and the second shift will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. All the candidates have been advised to reach the examination centre on time so that there is no inconvenience.
