TNTET 2025 Exam Dates Rescheduled

The Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) for 2025 has had its exam dates changed. According to the updated timetable, Paper I and Paper II are now set to take place on November 15 and 16, 2025. Previously, these tests were planned for November 1 and 2, 2025.

Candidates eligible to teach Classes 1 to 5 can register for Paper I, while Paper II is designated for those teaching Classes 6 to 8. Registration is currently open at trb.tn.gov.in and will remain available until September 8, 2025. The application correction period is from September 9 to 11, 2025.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old as of July 1, 2025, with no upper age limit imposed. Candidates should have completed Higher Secondary (or an equivalent qualification) with a minimum of 50% marks and must have passed or be currently enrolled in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Examination Fees Application Fee

The examination fee is set at Rs 600 for all candidates, except for those belonging to SC, SCA, ST, and Differently Abled Persons, who will pay a reduced fee of Rs 300.
