Tyler Morton, who joined Olympique Lyonnais from Liverpool earlier in the summer, is set to make his debut for his new club, against RC Lens on Saturday.

The path has cleared for him to be a regular starter for Lyon. Nemanja Matić’s deal was terminated by mutual consent, one year early, earlier this week. It leaves Morton with one less competitor in the middle of the park. The Englishman is expected to start alongside American Tanner Tessmann.

Corentin Tolisso, who missed OL’s final pre-season game with a minor calf issue, is expected to return and to start in a slightly more advanced role. Abner will likely deputise at left-back as Nicolás Tagliafico builds his fitness. In goal, Rémy Descamps will start, with the new No.1, Dominik Greif, expected to join OL on a permanent deal from Mallorca next week.
