Astrology courses and fees?

Many courses related to astrology and Vastushastra are available in Banaras Hindu University (BHU). If you want to do post-graduation (PG), then you can do a two-year course in MA/Acharya in Astrology, whose fee is Rs 4,000.

A one-year PG Diploma in Jyotish and Vastushastra is also available, the fee for which is Rs 10,000.

If you want to do research, you can also do a three-year PhD from here, the fee for which is Rs 9,920.

For students who want to take a diploma in Jyotish and Vastushastra at the undergraduate level, there is also a two-year undergraduate (UG) diploma course, the fee for which is Rs 20,000. All these courses are conducted under the Department of Astrology, Faculty of Sanskrit Vidya Dharma Vigyan.

Essential conditions for admission

You should have a three-year bachelor's degree from a recognized university. If you have studied abroad, then the degree from there should also be equivalent to it.

You should know the Sanskrit language.

Admission is done according to the merit list prepared based on the marks obtained in your previous examination.

Who can apply?

You should have a graduation degree from any recognized Indian or foreign university.

You should have at least 50% marks in graduation.

Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Divyang, and General Category Female candidates will get 5% relaxation in minimum marks.

Other institutes also offer the course.

Other reputed institutes in the country also offer astrology courses, the main ones being Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, New Delhi, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bengaluru Centre, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Mumbai, Indian Council of Astrology Sciences, Banaras Hindu University in Kolkata.
