UPI Payment:Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has become one of the most popular and convenient payment methods in India in the era of digital payments. Apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm and BHIM have made small to big transactions very simple and easy. But many times it happens that while paying, money is deducted from your account, but does not reach the person’s account. In such a situation, people get nervous and make the mistake of repeated transactions, which can lead to more complex. Today we tell you what are the reasons behind the failure of UPI transactions and if your money is deducted, then when and how can it be returned. What should be done in such a situation so that your money comes back safely.

UPI transaction due to failure

There can be many technical and non-technical reasons behind the failure of UPI transactions. The most common reasons include excessive load on the bank server, which can disrupt the transaction process. Apart from this, bad internet connection is also a major reason, which makes the payment unsuccessful or pending. Many times the transaction stops due to the UPI platform or bank server down. For all these reasons, your payment may be stuck in pending or cannot reach the front.

How long does cut money come back?

In most cases, the cut money returned to your account in a few hours when UPI transactions fail. If the transaction has stopped due to server or network problem, the refund may take up to 24 hours. In certain circumstances, such as technical fault or other reasons, this process can also be drawn for 3 to 5 days. But now your money will definitely come back.

File a complaint, get money safe

If the money has been deducted from your account and does not reach the front, then first of all, do not make the mistake of payment again. Instead, check the transaction history in your UPI app and see the status. If the money does not return within 24 to 72 hours, then immediately go to the help or support section of the app. If the app does not get a solution, then you can complement with the transaction number in your bank. The bank will have to resolve your complaint within 30 days, which will give your money back safely.
