How can you withdraw money deposited in the bank with Aadhaar card?

You can withdraw money deposited in the bank with the help of Aadhaar Enabled Payment System i.e. AEPS with Aadhaar card. AePS i.e. Aadhaar Enabled Payment System is a system that has been started by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). Through this, you can withdraw money from the bank, deposit, check balance or even take out a mini statement by using only your Aadhaar number and fingerprint. In this system, you neither need an ATM card, nor do you need to enter any PIN or OTP, nor do you have to face the long process of the bank. But it is important that your Aadhaar card should be linked to your bank account.

How to withdraw money from Aadhaar?

1. Go to the nearest banking correspondent or micro ATM: This person is sitting in a shop or in the mini branch of the bank, which is also called BC Agent. These people do transactions through portable machines (micro ATM).

2. Enter your Aadhaar number: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number in the BC Agent's machine.

3. Give fingerprint: Place your finger in a fingerprint scanner. It will match your identity with the Aadhaar database.

4. Choose the transaction option: Choose the cash withdrawal option.

5. Enter the amount: Enter the amount you want to withdraw.

6. Complete the transaction: You will receive the money as soon as the finger is identified. An SMS of the transaction will also come to your registered mobile number.

Important things to withdraw money from AePS

1. Your bank account should be linked to Aadhaar card.

2. Only that account will work which is linked to Aadhaar as a primary account.

3. Fingerprint is required for transactions, not OTP or PIN.

4. How many times you can withdraw money in a day depends on the limit of each bank.

5. RBI has not imposed any specific limit, but most banks allow only up to Rs 50,000 for security. This limit can also change, so definitely get information from your bank.
