HPRCA JBT Recruitment 2025: Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission (HPRCA) has released recruitment for 600 posts of Junior Basic Teacher (JBT). The application process is going on for interested candidates. Candidates who want to join this recruitment should get complete information about the educational qualifications and necessary conditions before applying, so that there is no problem in the future.

Under this recruitment, candidates will be appointed to a total of 600 posts. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website hprca.hp.gov.in. The last date is fixed till 17 September 2025 at 11:59 pm.

Who can apply?

The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in Intermediate from a recognized board. Along with this, the candidate must have 2 years of JBT / D.El.Ed. Apart from this, a 4-year B.Ed with 50% marks, or a 2-year Diploma in Special Education with 50% marks, is also valid.

Or

For candidates who have done graduation, 2 2-year JBT/D.El.Ed will also be valid. Whereas, for candidates who have done post-graduation, 3 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.An Ed degree with a minimum of 55% marks is also acceptable. Also, if a candidate has obtained 45% marks in 12th, he will be eligible, provided that his course is as per the NCTE Rules 2002.

Age limit conditions
TET Exam: It is necessary to pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by HPBOSE Dharamshala or a government-authorized agency.
Relaxation in reservation: SC/ST/OBC and Divyang candidates will get 5% relaxation in educational qualification and minimum marks in TET. The candidate should have passed matriculation and 12th from a school/institute in Himachal Pradesh. This condition will not apply to permanent residents of Himachal Pradesh (Bonafide Himachali).
Age Limit: The minimum age of the candidate for this recruitment has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age at 45 years. However, reserved categories (such as SC, ST, OBC, PWD etc.) will be given relaxation in maximum age limit as per government rules.

Other eligibility conditions

The qualification and experience of all the candidates will be calculated till the last date of submission of Online Recruitment Application (ORA). The decision of HPRCA regarding the eligibility of the candidate will be considered final.

It will be the responsibility of the candidate to submit proof of obtaining his/her required degree/qualification by the prescribed date.
