There is good news for the youth dreaming of becoming a teacher. Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission (HPRCA) has issued a recruitment to fill 600 posts of Junior Basic Teacher (JBT). The online application process for this recruitment has started, which will continue till the last date, 17 September 2025. Candidates can fill the application form only through online mode by visiting the official website of HPRCA hprca.hp.gov.in. Any other type of application will not be accepted.

Who can apply

Candidates who have passed D.El.Ed with 12th can apply to join this recruitment. Along with this, those with 4-year B.Ed / 2-year Diploma in Education / B.Ed / M.Ed with Senior Secondary are also eligible to fill the form. Along with the qualification, the HP TET exam must be passed.

Age Limit

To apply for this recruitment, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 47 years. Candidates coming from the reserved category will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules. Age will be calculated keeping in mind 1st January 2025.

In step 3, you have to complete/update your profile.

You have to enter the details of the post for which you want to apply.

The exam district preference has to be selected.

Now the prescribed fee has to be deposited.

After this, the application will be confirmed. Finally, take a printout of it and keep it safe with you.
