These trains affected by Mumbai rain

Due to heavy rains in Mumbai and waterlogging at Chunabhatti station, the train services of Harbour Line between Kurla and CSMT have been stopped till further orders. Apart from this, due to continuous heavy rains, many important routes of Palghar district have been waterlogged. Due to this, many trains passing through here have been cancelled. Apart from this, about 5 trains are seen stopped one after the other on the railway track between Bhandapu and Kanjurmarg railway stations. This rain has also affected many trains going from other routes.

Trains cancelled by Central Railway

According to the information received from Central Railway, the timings of many long distance express trains have been changed. Due to which many passengers may face problems.

  • Train number 11011 - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Dhule Express cancelled.
  • Train number 12071- Jan Shatabdi Express - Cancelled from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Hingoli.
  • Train number 22159- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus - MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express Cancelled.
  • Train number 12188- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Jabalpur Garib Rath Express Cancelled.

Many trains of North East Frontier Railway affected

Trains are affected due to rain in Mumbai. Apart from this, many trains have been cancelled due to railway maintenance work on other routes of the country. Many have been re-scheduled. According to the information received from North East Frontier Railway, 9 trains have been cancelled.

  • Train No. 55752 Haldibari - New Jalpaiguri Passenger till 20th August
  • Train No. 15703/15704 New Jalpaiguri - Bongaigaon - New Jalpaiguri Express till 20th August
  • Train No. 15710/15709 New Jalpaiguri - Malda Town - New Jalpaiguri Express till 20th August
  • Train No. 75721 Siliguri - Haldibari DMU till 19 August
  • Train number 75722 Haldibari - Siliguri DMU till 20 August

These trains were short terminated

  • Train number 52541 New Jalpaiguri - Darjeeling On August 19, this train will now run only till Siliguri Junction. It will remain cancelled between New Jalpaiguri - Siliguri Junction.
  • Train number 52540 Darjeeling - New Jalpaiguri On August 19, this train will now run only from Siliguri Junction. It will remain cancelled between Siliguri Junction - New Jalpaiguri.
  • Train number 12041 Howrah - New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express On August 20, this train will now run only till Kishanganj. It will remain cancelled between New Jalpaiguri - Kishanganj.
  • Train number 12042 New Jalpaiguri - Howrah Shatabdi Express On August 20, this train will now run from Kishanganj. It will remain cancelled between New Jalpaiguri - Kishanganj.

These trains have been rescheduled

  • Train number 15658 Kamakhya - Delhi BP Mail On August 19, this train will now run at 21:00 pm, whereas earlier its timing was 16:55 pm. Train number 12345 Howrah - Guwahati Saraighat Express On August 19, this train will now run at 18:35 pm, whereas earlier its timing was 16:05 pm.
  • Train number 15648 Guwahati - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express On August 19, this train will now run at 20:30 pm, whereas earlier its timing was 15:00 pm.
  • Train No. 13182 Silghat Town - Kolkata Express will now run on 19 August at 16:00 hrs, instead of its earlier timing of 13:50 hrs.
