Jack Draper has signed a major multi-year deal with a new clothing sponsor, Vuori. The British No. 1 will join forces with Jessica Pegula in the revamped US Open mixed doubles tournament on Tuesday, where they take on Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz, and he'll be in a brand new kit.
Previously a Nike athlete, Draper will now develop a signature line with the American athleisure brand. For now, in his first tournament with Vuori at the US Open, the world No. 5 will wear the brand's clothing on the court.
Draper and Vuori announced their new partnership in an Instagram post on Tuesday, hours before his mixed doubles match in Flushing Meadows.
"Game. Set. Jack. Welcome New Vuori Tennis Athlete @JackDraper," the brand wrote.
"Jack's journey started at age one, when he first picked up a racket. More than 20 years later, he's ranked in the top five globally. And through the hours of practice and years of dedication, he's carried a grounded perspective on what matters most.
"Vuori is proud to stand with him as he continues to show the world that true performance goes beyond the scoreboard. When grit meets ease. When pressure fuels purpose. That's Jack Draper. That's Vuori. And this is only the beginning."
Draper has not played a match since Wimbledon, where he suffered a shock second-round exit. An arm injury kept him out of the Masters 1000 tournaments in Canada and Cincinnati, and he will return to the court alongside Pegula for the US Open mixed doubles.
The Brit initially entered the reimagined tournament alongside Olympic champion Qinwen Zheng, but she withdrew after having surgery. He then partnered up with Paula Badosa, but she also pulled out, citing injury.
Pegula was set to play with Tommy Paul, but he decided to withdraw from the mixed doubles event only. Left without partners, Draper and Pegula created a team together, and they are the No. 1 seeds with the best combined singles ranking.
The American is an experienced doubles player. She reached No. 1 in the WTA doubles rankings and won seven titles, most of which came alongside Coco Gauff.
They'll face two former US Open singles champions in Raducanu and Alcaraz. World No. 2 Alcaraz comes into the mixed doubles tournament fresh off the back of winning the Cincinnati Open after Jannik Sinner retired with an illness just 23 minutes into Monday's final.
And the five-time Grand Slam winner knows Draper and Pegula will be tough to beat.
"I think it's going to be new for me, which I love. I'm going to have so much fun playing there, playing with Emma. It's going to be tough against Draper and Pegula, but I will try to enjoy as much as I can," he said after the Cincinnati Open final.
