While the Indian Railway Railway is doing its best for the safety and facilities of the passengers traveling by Railways, the railway has now prepared to implement a rule (railway rule), which will be the same as the passengers traveling by plane. Yes, we are talking about the weight of the goods carried during the journey, which will now control the train like airlines (such as airlines like railway luggage rules). Although this rule already existed, it could not be fully applied.
Now the passengers can carry the luggage in accordance with the standard while traveling on the Indian Railway. The weight limit of the luggage will be strictly applied to some major railway stations in the country. Like airlines, preparations are underway to impose these rules for railway travel. As a rule, the amount of free baggage permitted for different categories of travel is different.

For example, those traveling in the first class AC coach will be allowed to carry up to 5 kg of goods. For AC second class passengers, the limit will be up to 5 kg and for the third grade and sleeper range passengers. If we talk about the passengers traveling on ordinary tickets, the luggage they have can weigh up to 5 kg.
Currently, the North Railway and North Central Railway have decided to start the system from the major stations in Lucknow and Prayagraj divisions. The railway stations that have been identified include Prayagaraj, Mirzapur, Kanpur and Aligarh junction. Apart from this, the list also includes Lucknow Charbagh, Banaras, Prayagraj Chhaoki, Subedarganj, Mirzapur, Tundla, Aligarh, Govindpuri and Etawa.
Railway officials say that these rules are essential for the safety and convenience of the railway passengers, as many times passengers carry more luggage with them, causing problems in sitting and walking in the coach. They have said that additional matches are at risk of security.
Like the airport, the facility of booking your goods has been started at the train station. If the weight of the bag or briefcase is higher than the determined limits and therefore, the boarding space is obstructed, they also have a provision to impose penalties.
According to the railway, if the goods are more than the limited limit during inspection and without booking, the fee will have to be paid above normal rates. Please note that passengers will have to booked the goods for more than that of 5 kg of extra goods.
Electronic machines will also install electronic luggage machines at Indian railway stations to implement the luggage rules and operate them smoothly. The weight and size of the passenger bags will be checked before entering the railway platform. Another specialty is that the size of the passenger bags, but the size of their passenger bags will also be kept within this limit.
This means that if the size of the bag is larger than the need, it can be fined even if the weight limit is less than the need. According to Kuldeep Tiwari, senior DCM of Lucknow North Railway, this step is being taken to facilitate the passengers.
