The excitement is palpable as the countdown begins for the Bigg Boss Telugu 9 pre-show Agnipariksha , with its first episode promos already creating a buzz. The promos feature intense exchanges between Mask Man Harish and the judges, along with emotional stories from contestants Kethamma and Prasanna Kumar .
The teaser opens with judge Abijeet making a playful remark, saying he has never seen a contestant like himself till now. Harish, donning a mask, stole the spotlight with his bold confession: “If I get angry, I’ll strike!” He further challenged the panel, saying, “How can you judge me? If you’re able to judge me within a few minutes, you must be gods.” The tension peaked when judge Bindu Madhavi walked up to the stage, tagged him as a “loser,” and demanded that he remove his mask.
The promo also features glimpses of contestants like Madhuri, Anusha Ratnam, Dammu Sreeja, and Swetha Shetty participating in tasks that test their physical endurance. From comedy acts to high-energy challenges, the contestants are seen giving it their all while judges closely observe.
Another highlight of the promo is Kethamma’s vibrant entry, marked by a Bonalu performance and an emotional confession about her family. Judge Abijeet, impressed yet cautious, told her, “I haven’t experienced life the way you have, but I know this game very well. It will be very tough for you.” Despite the warning, Kethamma earned the green flag with her enthusiasm and resilience.
Prasanna Kumar’s segment added further inspiration. A photographer, biker, horse rider, marathon runner, and javelin throw state champion, he has achieved all this despite losing one leg. His courage and confidence moved the judges, earning unanimous approval.
Hosted by anchor Sreemukhi , with a judging panel led by Bigg Boss alumni Abijeet, Bindu Madhavi, and Navdeep, Agnipariksha is set to premiere on 22nd August. The much-anticipated main show, hosted by Nagarjuna , will follow soon after and will feature a unique dual-house format.
