NEET UG 2025 Seat Exit Without Fee Loss: NEET UG students have got a major relief in the medical counseling process. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has decided that students who are allotted seats in round-1 can leave their seats and their security money will not be cut. This means that if for some reason students do not want to take admission in that college or seat, then they can withdraw their name safely. MCC has taken this relief decision keeping in mind the requests of those students who wanted to leave the seats found in their round-1 for different reasons. On his request, the competent officials decided that now the candidates can leave their seat and their security money will not be confiscated. With this decision, many students of Round-1 will now be able to leave their seats without financial loss. The MCC has also explained the proper way to leave the seat which can be left out only by following.

NEET UG 2025: Process and time limit to leave allot seat

Students will have to appear personally in the college where they have allotted the seat to leave their seat. MCC has said that it will be valid only through online portal or according to college notification. If students only fill the online form and do not confirm from the college, then the process of leaving their seat will not be considered valid. To take advantage of this relief, students can complete their resignation by 5 pm on August 25. During this time, students have to take care that the process is fully completed, so that there is no problem later.

This decision of MCC will prove to be very helpful for the students, especially for those candidates who do not want to keep their round-1 seat for some reason. Now they can leave college without losing their security money.
