The biggest film of 2026 is without a doubt Avengers: Doomsday that marks the return of the OG, Robert Downey Jr to MCU after his blockbuster run from 2008 to 2019.

However, unlike the previous times where he played Iron Man, in Avengers: Doomsday, Robert Downey Jr will be seen playing the supervillain Doctor Doom.

While Avengers: Doomsday is highly awaited, the reports coming from the sets are not something fans were hoping to hear.

There have been several reports of the film being shot without actors on sets and with body doubles and that the script is being written while they are filming.

If that wasn’t enough, John Rocha of The Hot Mic podcast claimed on The Kristian Harloff Show that two big actors recently got into a fight on the sets of the film and that led to the makers rewriting the entire scene involving them.

He said, “They are two pretty big actors. Apparently, a comment — from what I understand — a comment was made in jest that was a bit too familiar because these actors didn’t know each other that well and crossed a line. One of the actors got really upset about it, confronted the other actor…And that caused a big rift and battle. I’m just going to leave it at two very outspoken actors went at each other.”

He added that apologies were exchanged between the actors later.

While the names of the actors were not revealed, the Blinded By The Item podcast hinted that the two stars are Robert Downey Jr and Ryan Reynolds.

In their bling item they stated that a “Longtime A Plus List Comeback Actor” and “A Foreign Born A Minus List Actor” got into a physical altercation after the latter passed a comment on former’s producer wife.

This led to the former passing a comment on the latter’s wife who is a movie star herself.

It is clear that the “Longtime A Plus List Comeback Actor” is Robert Downey Jr and the “Foreign Born A Minus List Actor” is Ryan Reynolds who is a Canadian.

In a recent episode of The Hot Mic, Jeff Sneider stated that Robert Downey Jr recently demanded three weeks of reshoots after a body double shot for the majority of the scenes.

He said, “I’ve heard that even though they paid [Robert Downey Jr.] $50-60 million a movie, [Disney’s] had to reshoot for three weeks. They reshot three weeks worth of material because apparently–this is just what I heard–they had an actor standing-in for Downey Jr. In the [Doctor Doom] suit. They had a body double and they had a face double and Downey stood off-camera reading the lines, okay. And apparently, after two or three weeks, he was like ‘This isn’t working. I want to reshoot everything with me in the suit.'”

He further compared the chaos on Avengers: Doomsday to the Fast & Furious franchise.

He added, “The dysfunction I’ve heard on [the Doomsday] set is rivaled only by that of Fast and Furious movies. I mean, we’ve alluded to an incident BTS early this year that I did not want to go details on and it was probably more you know, someone made it sound more dramatic to me than it really was, but…yeah, I think again, there’s just a lot of testosterone and a lot of ego on that set. A lot of people who think they know what way is the best way. In the end, there’s only one person’s way who matters and that’s actually Robert Downey Jr.’s way.”

Directed by the Russo Brothers, Avengers: Doomsday features a massive ensemble including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, Pedro Pascal and Ryan Reynolds.
