Arsenal teenager Max Dowman becomes the second-youngest footballer in Premier League history on Saturday in the Gunners’ match against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.

The Hale End graduate made his competitive debut at the tender age of 15 years 235 days. He came on to replace summer recruit Noni Madueke, who also made his first start for the north London club on the day.
Dowman made an immediate impact for Mikel Arteta’s team by winning a late penalty from which new striker Viktor Gyokeres scored to make it 5-0 for Arsenal.
