1 cup rice
1/2 cup moong dal
1 carrot (chopped)
1 potato (chopped)
1/2 cup peas
1 onion (chopped)
2 tomatoes (chopped)
2 green chillies
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
2 tablespoons ghee or oil
Taste salt

How to make masala vegetable khichdi
Masala vegetable khichdi is full of wonderful taste and it is also easy to make. To prepare it, wash the most rice and moong dal thoroughly and soak it for 15 minutes.
Now put desi ghee in the cooker and heat it. After melting the ghee, add cumin seeds and let it crackle. After cumin seeds, add finely chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste and green chillies and fry. Then add chopped tomatoes and all spices.
After roasting the masala, add carrots, potatoes and peas. Run it well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Then add soaked rice and lentils. After this, add water and add salt. Now close the cooker and cook till 2-3 whistles.
After the cooker cools down, open the lid and add garam masala and mix. Rich in taste and nutrition, the spice is ready to be a vegetable khichdi. Remove it in a plate and serve hot by adding ghee on top.
