India’s Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar won the gold medal in the men’s 50m Rifle Three Position event at the Asian Shooting Championship. Tomar maintained dominance in this competition from the beginning and maintained an edge almost all the time. Initially his Neeling Position was fantastic, but his series in Prone was not as high as it could be expected. Nevertheless, he maintained the lead.

When Aishwarya landed with a gain of more than 1.5 points in the standing round, he just needed to show continuity in 10 seconds, and he did the same, and eventually won the gold medal. Chinese shooter Zhao Wenyu won Silver and Naoya Okada of Japan won the bronze medal.
