Shubhanshu shukla scholarship: Monday was a day of creating history in Lucknow. The state government will now start a special scholarship in the name of the first Indian and Gaurav Shubhanshu Shukla of Uttar Pradesh to visit the International Space Station (ISS). This announcement not only filled the students' faces, but also indicated a new direction in the education system of the state.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that this scholarship will be given to students who want to get higher education in space technology. Yogi said, "Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is the first citizen of Uttar Pradesh to illuminate the name of the country by being a part of the space mission. By giving scholarship in his name, we want to encourage the youth to move forward in this field."
Till a few years ago, no university or technical institute in Uttar Pradesh provided courses related to space technology. But now the picture has changed. Degree and diploma courses associated with this sector have started in Gorakhpur -based Madan Mohan Malaviya Technological University, AKTU and many other technical institutes. This change shows how the state is contributing to the development of the country by adopting new scientific possibilities.
Shubhanshu Shukla has recently returned from the Axiom-4 mission. He performed more than 60 experiments by staying at the international space station for 18 days, designed by many Indian scientists. The Chief Minister described his achievement as a moment of pride not only for Lucknow but also for the whole country. Yogi said that his experience will inspire generations to come.
