The blockbuster success of Saiyaara has turned debutant Anit Padda into one of Bollywood’s most talked-about new faces. The Mohit Suri directorial, starring Ahan Pandey and Anit Padda, has earned over ₹500 crore worldwide, winning praise for its fresh pairing, engaging story, and the actors’ chemistry.

Now, reports suggest that Anit Padda has already bagged her second big project. According to industry buzz, she will be seen in an important role in filmmaker Manish Sharma’s upcoming romantic drama, once again backed by Yash Raj Films (YRF).

Interestingly, Saiyaara itself was a YRF production. Sources reveal that Aditya Chopra is personally overseeing the careers of both Ahan and Anit, and believes Anit is the perfect fit for this new project. The film will be directed by Manish Sharma, known for Band Baaja Baaraat, Shuddh Desi Romance, Fan, and Tiger 3.

The upcoming film will be set in Punjab and is expected to go on floors in the first half of 2026. While Anit has been confirmed as the female lead, the male lead opposite her has not yet been finalized.

Given Sharma’s track record with romantic entertainers, this project is being seen as a major opportunity for Anit to cement her place in Bollywood. With two YRF films already in her kitty, the young actress appears to be on a promising career path.

While Ahan Pandey also received appreciation for his performance in Saiyaara, there has been no concrete news about his next film. Though industry insiders claim that several offers may be coming his way, no official announcement has been made yet. This leaves Anit with a clear head start, as she moves ahead with her second big-screen project, while Ahan is yet to lock his next venture.
