Bihar News: A big step has been taken towards giving modern nature to the historical and mythological identity of Bihar. Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department Dr. Sunil Kumar on Monday laid the foundation stone of the construction work “Maharishi Vishwamitra Park” in Buxar district. The park, which is developed on either side of the Skep channel of the Son Canal, will present the cultural heritage and mythological significance of Buxar in a new way.

The park will have facilities such as walking track, open gym, yoga park, open air amphitheater, cable-based hanging bridge, rural haat, gen garden, cafeteria and children’s play zones. On the banks of the Ganges, the life -size statue of Maharishi Vishwamitra and “Siddhashram Museum” will be special attractions for tourists. Mini STP and bio-region technology will be used for disposal of contaminated water and waste.

In this sequence, the minister recently laid the foundation stone of the “Guptadham Eco-P-P-Pest Development Scheme” to be built at a cost of Rs 14.91 crore at Baba Guptadham, a mythical site in Rohtas district. Under this scheme, arrangements for upgradation of shops, new entrances, dharamshalas for devotees, food fields, toilets and electricity and water will be developed. Live telecast of Shivling will be on large LED screen and all arrangements will be operated with solar energy.

Apart from this, recently the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Dr. Sunil Kumar laid the foundation stone of the renovation work of Maa Mundeshwari Dham Complex in Kaimur district. Under this, the road leading to the temple will be widened. Along with this, the first boathouse camp project of Bihar was also launched at Karamchat Dam at Durgavati reservoir of Rohtas. This boathouse has the ability to kitchen with a room containing AC and seating for tourists.

Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Dr. Sunil Kumar said that our aim behind this is to promote religious tourism because we believe that religious tourism sectors are Long Lasting. Given the faith of the people, there is a need to do a lot of work in it. We are also going to start many schemes in different areas of Bihar so that there is no regional imbalance. Our department has done a lot of work in Rajgir, where the results are also being seen very well. Inspired by this, efforts are being made to develop in many other places as well.
