Bank holiday 27 August: The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is being celebrated this time on Wednesday, August 27. In such a situation, there is a question in the minds of people that will the banks be closed in Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh too? According to the list released by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will be open in Lucknow today. That is, customers will continue to get banking services in most districts of UP including the capital.

On the occasion of Ganeshotsav, RBI has declared bank holidays in some states and cities. These include-

  • Only for tasks like check clearing and draft may have to wait a day.
