A Delhi cricketer, 'Sehwag', returns as an opener. No, not Virender, but his older son, Aaryavir, has now officially debuted for the Delhi Premier League (DPL). The 2007-born, who played no competitive T20 earlier, was the Central Delhi Kings (CDK) representative as he stepped out as an opener at the historic Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Though he didn't launch his innings in his father's manner by dispatching a pace bowler for four, he displayed aggressive tendencies that are not surprisingly part of his genetic makeup. Stepping forward into his crease to unsettle the pacers, Aaryavir displayed skill that we all know he has.

Confronting Indian pacer Navdeep Saini with the new ball, Aaryavir dispatched two consecutive boundaries. The first one was as beautiful as can be, as the Jnr Sehwag cleared the infield over the off-side. A tad bit overpitched but Sehwag drove it with a beautiful lofted drive. Next came a stroke which demonstrated his massive bravery, stepping out to Saini and hitting him over the off side once again.
