Months of speculation have finally come down to this big announcement! Legendary rock band Linkin Park has officially confirmed its debut performance in India.
The band will finally rock the stage with their Indian fans in January 2026 as they headline an upcoming music festival set to take place in the country. The concert will be added to their From World Zero world tour — their first global outing since the release of their 2024 comeback album of the same name.
Mike Shinoda 's big announcementThe announcement came via the band’s official newsletter, where co-founder Mike Shinoda expressed his excitement about finally performing for Indian fans. “India has been somewhere we’ve wanted to play for a long time. Our fans there are incredibly passionate, and we can’t wait to finally bring our live show to them,” Shinoda wrote.
Linkin Park's FIRST big gig in IndiaThis performance will also mark the band's first performance in India. It will also mark the debut of new vocalist Emily Armstrong, who joined the group after the tragic passing of frontman Chester Bennington in 2017. Armstrong will be joined by drummer Colin Brittain and guitarist Alex Federer, with Shinoda leading the lineup.
Song to expect on the SetlistFans can expect a setlist blending Linkin Park’s greatest hits over the years, including “Numb,” “In the End,” “Castle of Glass,” “What I’ve Done,” and “Bleed It Out”. It will also reportedly include the band's newer tracks such as “Over Each Other,” “Heavy Is the Crown,” and “The Emptiness Machine” from From World Zero. The album has been praised as a bold new chapter for the band, honouring Chester’s legacy while carving out a fresh sound.
Tickets to the showTickets went live on August 26, followed by a general sale of the music festival tickets that began August 28. Ticket sales are expected to reopen at 9:30 am on August 29.
The show will reportedly take place at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai, on January 25, 2026.
