NHPC has issued a notification for recruitment to non executive posts, which includes the posts of Assistant Rajbhasha, Junior Engineer, Supervisor, Senior Accountant, and Hindi Translator.

If you are looking for a government job and dream of making a career in the power sector, then National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has brought a great opportunity for you. NHPC has released the official notification for recruitment to non executive posts. The application process for these posts will start from September 2, 2025 at 10 am and interested candidates can apply online till October 1, 2025.

Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made in NHPC on posts like Assistant Rajbhasha, Junior Engineer, Supervisor, Senior Accountant and Hindi Translator. Different qualifications and pay scales have been fixed for all these posts. Selected candidates will get attractive salary at the initial level.

The monthly salary for the post of Assistant Official Language will range from Rs 40,000 to Rs 1,40,000. Junior Engineer and Supervisor will get salary ranging from Rs 29,600 to Rs 1,19,500 per month. The same pay scale has been fixed for Senior Accountant. At the same time, the salary for the post of Hindi Translator will range from Rs 27,000 to Rs 1,05,000 per month. Apart from this, allowances and other facilities will also be given to the candidates.

Age Limit

The maximum age of candidates applying for these posts has been fixed at 30 years. However, reserved categories will get relaxation as per rules. SC and ST category will be given relaxation of five years, OBC category will be given three years and Divyang candidates will be given relaxation of up to ten years.

How much is the application fee?

Talking about the application fee, candidates of General, OBC and EWS category will have to pay a fee of Rs 600. SC, ST, Divyang and women candidates will not have to pay any fee.

This is how the selection will be done

The selection process will be completely based on the written test. The exam will be conducted online in which multiple choice questions of total 200 marks will be asked. These questions will be divided into three parts which will include questions from the relevant subject, general awareness and reasoning. There will also be negative marking in the exam and one-fourth mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

The application process will be completely online. Candidates will have to register by visiting the official website of NHPC. After this, personal information, educational details and documents will have to be uploaded. After paying the application fee, the form has to be submitted. Before submitting, candidates are advised to check the form carefully and then submit it finally. After completing the application, a print out of it has to be taken and kept safe.
