Param sundari movie review: (by Ravi Dubey) Recently, when the audience saw the emotion -filled emotion like ‘Saira’, looked at the heart -ripped love story, then there was a need for a film that gives a smile, comfort and wake up again. ‘Param Sundari’ fulfills the same deficiency- a very beautiful but effective love story, which touches the heart. The story of the film is of Param (Siddharth Malhotra), who is a smart, very rich boy from Delhi, who has invested many startup businesses with his father’s money and has drowned a lot of money.
This time he is willing to invest in a startup that makes you find your Sol Met through an app- put data, look matching and just got a partner. But when his father (Sanjay Kapoor) bets on him that he finds his true love in 30 days with his own app, a journey begins that he teaches him the power to join someone outside the app. In this discovery, she meets Sundari (Janhvi Kapoor) who is a resident of Kerala, a land connected, confident and a clean girl. His world runs from apps and algorithms, not with emotions and relationships.
The first meeting of the two is a bit entangled, but as time passes, there is a relationship between them which is neither a formula nor a film- just true and feeling. The chemistry of Siddharth and Janhvi is gradually formed and this makes it special. Siddharth Malhotra’s confidence, humor and emotion are well-welcome. But the real shocking performance is of Janhvi Kapoor. In the character of Sundari, he has shown such a balance, which is neither more emotional nor artificial. Her body language, accent, truth of the eyes- everything is so real that you forget that she is acting. This is his most effective acting ever.
Sanjay Kapoor kills the film as a father. His humor is accurate and gives a good break in the story of a light-hearted humor in his punchline scenes. Manjot Singh laughs with his comic timing and Inayat Verma wins the heart in a few small scenes. The performance of Sundari’s parents (Renji Panikkar and Siddharth Shankar) is also completely natural and tight. The direction of Tusshar Jalota keeps the film connected to the ground and emotional. They do not let the story wander around. The camera work of the film is fantastic- there is a beautiful protest between Delhi’s high speed and Kerala’s greenery. Views are so impressive that many times you would like to forget the dialogues and keep staring at the location.
The costume of the film has also been given a lot of attention. Param’s stylish, but refined look and beautiful simplicity of beauty, traditional clothes- everything has been chosen very thoughtfully. The production standard of Madock Films is of high quality as usual, but without noise. The music of the film leads the level of the film. ‘Pardesia’ is full of fun, ‘Bheegi saree’ has a slight show, ‘Danger’ brings a different beat and then ‘listen to me yaar ya wo’ and ‘Chand paper’ takes you to the depth of emotions. The title track is already a hit ‘in Sundari Ke Pyaar’ and people’s faces blossom as soon as they hear in the theater.
‘Param Sundari’ shows the truth of relationships in today’s world, where everything starts from the screen, but the real connection is where the heart beats. This film does not try to show that today’s technology is wrong, but it definitely reminds that love is an experience- no download. ‘Param Sundari’, produced by Dinesh Vijan and under the banner of Madock Films, is a film that neither gives you knowledge, nor tries to change you- it just makes you feel that old, cute, true love again. A clean, heart-relaxed film, which forces you to smile, think and probably rely on love again for a while.
If you have recently missed a love story full of light, emotional and true feelings, then this film is made for you. You will smile while leaving the theater… and maybe you will be able to muster the courage to feel someone from the heart again.
4 stars to ‘Param Sundari’.
