Ganesh Visarjan 2025: Ganesh immersion is done on the next days. In the year 2025, Ganpati will be immersed on the fifth day on 31 August 2025, Sunday. Bappa will be given farewell on this day. Ganesh ji is immersed with full legal legislation, only then auspicious results of worship are obtained. Ganesh Visarjan is also done on the day of Anant Chaturdashi.

• Putual Muhurta (auspicious)- 01:57 pm to 03:32 pm
• Saihan Muhurta (auspicious, nectar, variable)- 06:44 pm to 10:57 pm
• Night Muhurta (Benefit)- 1 September 2025 from 01:46 pm to 03:10 am
• Ushakal Muhurta (auspicious)- 04:35 am to 05:59 am on 1 September 2025

Take special care that Ganesh ji should not be immersed after sunset. This work is not considered auspicious from religious terms. On this day, immersion should be done only by looking at the auspicious time.

Ganesh Visarjan Vidhi

• After bathing in the morning, meditate on Ganesha and clean the place of worship.
• Make a swastika by laying clean yellow or red clothes at the outpost and keep the Akshat (rice).
• Do the final worship of Ganapati before immersion,
• Get Ganesh ji bathed, wear new clothes, and apply tilak of kumkum.
• Offer durva, flowers, modak, and laddus.
• Chant Ganesh mantras, like "Om Gan Ganpataye Namah" and recite Ganesh Stotra.
• Perform Ganesh ji aarti with all the family members.
• Before immersing the idol in water, cheer "Ganpati Bappa Morya, next year you come soon".
