DPL 2025 Eliminator Fight: Digvesh Rathi, who came into the discussion with his bowling action and aggressive celebrations in IPL 2025, has once again been engulfed in controversies. In the Delhi Premier League (DPL) eliminator match, there was a clash between the players twice during the match between West Delhi Lyenge and South Delhi Superstar. One of these disputes took place between Rathi and Nitish Rana, who warmed the atmosphere of the match.

First clash: There was a ruckus as soon as Krishna Yadav was out
The first major controversy of the match was on the first ball of the 11th over when Krishna Yadav tried to hit a six off Aman Bharti to a six, but Anmol Sharma caught a brilliant catch. After this, a push and debate started on the field. Sumit Mathur, Aman Bharti and Krishna Yadav of South Delhi were at the center of this debate. The situation deteriorated so much that the umpires had to intervene.

Second quarrel: Rathi and Rana’s conflict
The second clash occurred when the mind game started between Nitish Rana and Digvesh Rathi. But in response, Rana gave fours and sixes on Rathi’s balls. Rana scored 38 runs alone in Rathi’s two overs. After hitting the sixes, there was a sharp conversation and resentment between the two players. Players and umpires of both teams entered the field to handle the situation.
 

Rana’s stormy innings won the match
Rana made the match completely in his favor with his brilliant batting. He scored an unbeaten 134 in just 55 balls, including 8 fours and 15 sixes. West Delhi Lyenj achieved the target of 202 runs by losing three wickets in just 17.1 overs and confirmed his place in qualifier-2.

Now in Qualifier-2, West Delhi Lyonz will face East Delhi Riders, which will be played on 30 August. The winning team of this match will take on Central Delhi Kings in the final on 31 August.

Central Delhi Kings enter the finals with a stunning victory
Central Delhi Kings defeated the East Delhi Riders in the first qualifier and confirmed the final ticket. Fast bowler Simarjit Singh took 5 wickets for just 23 runs and gave the team of Riders to 90 runs. The match was 15-15 overs due to rain.

Jonty Sidhu and Aditya Bhandari’s partnership won
Central Delhi team did not start well and had lost three wickets for 24 runs. But captain Jonty Sidhu and Aditya Bhandari together shared 53 runs and gave the team victory. The team achieved the target with 27 balls remaining.

Simarjeet’s bowling changed direction of match
Simarjeet put pressure in his spell with two initial wickets. He sent Hardik Sharma and Arpit Rana to the pavilion without opening an account. Mani Grewal also took two wickets for just seven runs with two maiden overs while bowling economically. This caused the riders’ innings completely falter.
