Indian Foreign Ministry (Mea) spokesman Randhir Jaiswal shared the scene of Tokyo Skytry on social media, writing, “Japan’s tallest tower, Tokyo Skytry, shine in the colors of the Indian flag in honor of Prime Minister Modi’s visit.”
The 634 meters (2,080 ft) Tokyo Skytry is the highest structure in Japan and has the distinction of being the world’s highest broadcast tower. The tower, which was built in 2012, is the center of television and radio broadcasting and has also become a major symbol of the horizon of Tokyo.
During the 15th India-Japan annual summit, Prime Minister Modi held bilateral talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. The two leaders signed several important agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in major areas.
The 10-year-old roadmap outline was presented at this summit, which would determine the future of India-Japan partnership. In addition, a long -term vision document was also unveiled, which would deepen cooperation between the two countries.
Emphasizing the importance of India-Japan relations at the conference, Prime Minister Modi said, “Today, we have laid the foundation of a new and golden chapter in our special strategic and global partnership. We have prepared a roadmap for the next decade, including investment, innovation, economic security, economic security, environment, technology, health, dynamics and mutual exchange between people.”
Prime Minister Modi also underlined the role of India and Japan in the global and regional peace and security of Asia’s two largest democracy and major economies. Both countries are part of Quad, which is part of a security dialogue with the US and Australia.
