Dwarka Expressway: Dwarka Expressway has been started, which has brought relief to lakhs of people living in Delhi and NCR. A few days ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated it. Toll is being collected differently on this 8-lane 29 km expressway. Here, you will not see the same scene as seen on other highways and expressways. There is a human-free toll plaza here, that is, people are not sitting to collect tolls. In such a situation, let us know how this toll system will work and how the vehicle will be stopped if the balance is not there.

How is this system working

First of all, let us know what this human-free toll plaza is. The country's first human-free toll plaza has been started on the Dwarka Expressway. You can travel comfortably without stopping in it.

Toll tax will be collected from high-resolution cameras.

The cameras will read the RFID installed on the Fastag, and the barrier will go up automatically.

This system has been brought to make travel smooth, which has been started as a pilot project. The system will be connected to the satellite.

This system will be further connected to the satellite system, so that the entire system will run in a multi-hybrid model. If the experiment done on Dwarka Expressway is successful, then this system can be seen on every expressway in the country in the future. However, there are many flaws in it right now, and the cameras are not able to detect RFID so quickly.

What will happen if there is no balance?

In the current toll system, if there is no balance in your FASTag, then you are stopped. Vehicles without a balance do not get entry, and double money is charged if the toll is paid in cash. Now the question is what will happen to vehicles without a balance in the human-free toll system.

Actually, barriers have been installed to stop vehicles, as is seen at other tolls. These barriers will not open until there is a balance in your fastag. If someone tries to remove the barrier forcibly, then everything will be recorded in the camera and a heavy fine will be imposed against him. At present, some people have been stationed near the toll system for help.
