Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released recruitment for a total of 500 posts of Professor of Agriculture for the Secondary Education Department. Candidates who want to work in the posts of Agriculture School Lecturer in Rajasthan will be able to apply for these posts soon. Let us tell you, the application process for these posts will start from 04 September 2025. Essential Eligibility Criteria

To apply for these posts, it is necessary that the candidates have completed four years of graduation in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized institute in India. Also, the candidates should have a B.Ed degree. Apart from this, the candidates should have experience in writing in the Hindi Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture.

The minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years, and the maximum age should be less than 40 years. Also, age relaxation will be provided to the candidates. SC & ST, OBC, and EWS candidates of Rajasthan state will be given 5 years relaxation, SC & ST & EWS women candidates of Rajasthan state will be given 10 years relaxation, and women of the general category will be given 5 years relaxation.

Application fee

Candidates will have to pay an application fee to apply. The application fee has been fixed at Rs 600 for general and OBC candidates, Rs 400 for SC, ST, EWS, and Divyang candidates.

How will the selection be done?

Candidates will be selected through a written examination. The written examination will be conducted for a total of 450 marks, in which questions of 150 marks will be asked from Paper-1 and questions of 300 marks will be asked from Paper-2. All the questions in the examination will be of a multiple choice type. Also, there will be negative marking of one-third marks for every wrong answer in the examination.
