Bihar IAS Officer Transfer: Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department S Siddharth has been made Development Commissioner. Harjot Kaur has been made the chairman cum member of the revenue board, while Anand Kishore has been given additional charge of the Forest and Environment Department.

Bihar News: The Bihar government on Saturday transferred Siddharth, an officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, to the post of Development Commissioner. Its notification was also issued by the General Administration Department. According to the notification, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Additional Chief Secretary of Ministry Secretariat Department, Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department, S Siddharth has been transferred to the post of Development Commissioner till further order.

New system will be implemented from September 1

Apart from this, officer Harjot Kaur has been transferred as the Chairman of Revenue Council by transferring the post of Additional Chief Secretary of Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department. Additional Chief Secretary of General Administration Department B.K. Rajendra has been given additional charge of the Education Department till further orders. It has been reported that this system will be applicable from September 1. In this sequence, Anand Kishore, Senior IAS officer and Principal Secretary of Bihar School Examination Committee cum Finance Department, has been given the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary of Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department.

Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department (Additional Charge Additional Chief Secretary, Monitoring Department, Controller of Examinations, Bihar State Joint Entrance Examination Council, Investigation Commissioner, General Administration) Arvind Kumar Chaudhary has also been given the responsibility of additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary of Cabinet Secretariat. S Siddharth has been known as the choice of simplicity. Sometimes he is seen traveling by train like an ordinary citizen and sometimes he himself goes out to buy vegetables. While being the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, Dr. S Siddharth used to monitor schools through video calls. During this time, he used to take stock of the basic facilities, education system and presence of teachers.
