TWICE’s Jihyo was unwell throughout the Fukuoka concertOn August 30, the group had their concert at their official Fukuoka venue. The members lit the stage up and gave amazing and energy-packed performances for the fans in attendance. However, many attendees noticed that the group’s leader seemed unwell during the concert.
While the group was performing their song ‘Cry For Me,' Jihyo ended up leaving the stage mid-performance while the remaining members continued without losing focus. The singer was then missing from a lot of songs before she joined her fellow members on stage.
Throughout the majority of the concert, Jihyo performed her part in the songs sitting down on a chair that had been placed for her at the center of the stage, while the other members danced around her. Nearing the end, the singer even got up to share a powerful performance of their song ‘ONE SPARK ’, leaving fans emotional and mesmerized.
Jihyo shares a reassuring post onlineAs photos and videos from the concert ended up going viral, many fans of the girl group wondered what had happened with her. Many shared their opinions on the matter, with a lot of people pointing out that the idol had revealed earlier this year that she has been suffering from a herniated disc. While others mentioned that it could have been the heat, as temperatures were rising till 34 degrees Celsius, creating a hot environment for the idols to perform in.
In response to her fans’ concerns, Jihyo quickly took to her social media account in order to share a series of photos and videos to celebrate the concert. Not only that, but she also shared the media content online with the caption, “I overcame it with all my strength”.
