New initiative for empowerment of rural women
Chhattisgarh news: The Panchayat and Rural Development Department has taken a new and innovative initiative to empower rural women in Chhattisgarh. A special radio program called ‘Didi Ke Goth’ was broadcast simultaneously from all the All India Radio centers in the state including the All India Radio Raipur Center at 12.15 pm. The program was enthusiastically heard across the state. Through this program, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Union Rural Development Minister and Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Vijay Sharma received inspirational best wishes and guidance.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma listened to ‘Didi Ke Goth’ with local public representatives, self-help groups in Kawardha district and congratulated the success of the program. He said that stories of success being shared on this platform will become an inspiration for other women.
Departmental officials also reached various districts and participated in collective hearing. Bhim Singh, Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Gariaband, Special Secretary Dharmesh Sahu, Janjgir, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Director and Commissioner MNREGA Taran Prakash Sinha, Dhamtari and Panchayat Department Director Priyanka Mahobia, sitting among group members in Durg district, listened to the program and encouraged the women. Complete level broadcast was also held at the Community Management Training Institute at Serikhedi, Raipur, where Bihan Mission Director Ashwini Dewangan, Joint Mission Director R.K. Senior officials including Jha were present.
The main objective of the ‘Didi Ke Goth’ program is to make rural women self -reliant and self -reliant by linking them to the schemes of governance. Under this, inspirational stories of successful women of self-help groups are being shared, so that other women also move forward on the path of self-employment and confidence. This special broadcast was organized as collective hearing in 33 districts, 146 development blocks and 580 packages of the state. Millions of women were associated with this program and there was enthusiasm in the entire state about ‘Didi Ke Goth’. ‘Didi Ke Goth’ is not only a radio program, but it is also a strong platform for positive changes in the society by exposing the struggle, self -confidence and success of rural women.
