Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated a new program aimed at assisting students, parents, and schools. Through podcasts and digital media, CBSE will provide valuable information related to studies and counseling. The goal is to ensure accurate information and support reaches the public. These podcasts will also be accessible on popular platforms like YouTube, allowing a wider audience to benefit from them.
This initiative will enhance the existing educational and counseling programs of CBSE. Students will have easy access to advice and information regarding their studies, examinations, mental health, and overall well-being. Let's explore how this will benefit students.
To make this initiative more engaging, CBSE has decided to involve students directly. They can now share their opinions, experiences, and discussions through short video or audio clips for the podcast. These contributions will be featured in the board's official podcasts, social media, and other digital platforms. According to CBSE, student participation will make the content more appealing and practical, providing them with a chance to engage in significant educational discussions.
For this initiative, CBSE has instructed all schools to submit the names of students from grades 9 to 12 who are confident speakers. Interested students should be willing to participate and express their views. Participation is entirely voluntary, requiring written consent from students and their parents or guardians, which will be submitted through the school. Schools wishing to nominate students must use the Google Form link provided by CBSE to send in the names along with a brief profile. This task should be completed within ten days of the announcement. This is an optional opportunity that provides students with a platform to voice their thoughts.
