Plenty of famous faces have been converted into Formula 1 fans in recent years. And one of them is beloved Hollywood actress Kristen Bell, who has been converted by the hit Netflix show Formula 1: Drive to Survive and also by her husband and fellow actor Dax Shepard.

The latter has regularly discussed F1 on his Armchair Expert podcast and appears to have helped make his wife a fan of the sport too. And Bell delighted fans on her Instagram account last week with a photo on her Story of herself wearing a T-shirt bearing the likeness of an unexpected driver.

Taking a selfie in a mirror with some gym equipment in the background, Bell's top featured several images of Yuki Tsunoda and a quote: "Workouts ruin my whole day," which the Japanese racer once famously uttered in an episode of Drive to Survive.

Naturally, it got plenty of reaction from F1 fans online. "All of a sudden I love Kristen Bell," wrote one Tsunoda supporter, while another pointed out: "He husband Dax loves Yuki, has been a fan since his rookie season in 2021."

Tsunoda is not the only F1 star that the Hollywood power couple have shown support for in the past. Both are also friendly with now former Red Bull racer Daniel Ricciardo, who became a household name as a result of the Netflix series which allowed his affable personality to shine through.

And, when they once appeared on a chat show with Ellen DeGeneres, Bell revealed a crush she had on Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, having discovered him through Drive to Survive.

She said: "I don't sit down and watch the entire race, but Danny [Ricciardo] had got us tickets to come onto the grid and, after watching Drive to Survive... there are some visually stimulating people on that show, you guys.

"I adore Danny, but there is a driver who has just got a face – his name is Charles Leclerc." A photo of the Ferrari driver was then shown in the studio which led to a murmur rippling through the live audience and causing Bell to stop mid-sentence and shout: "Right!?"

"The people that were touring us around, they said, 'Is there anything else you want to see?' We're watching them pour dry ice into the cars before they go and it all looks great." And then Shepard interrupted to add: "I wouldn't mind walking by the Ferrari cars,' she said."

And Bell continued: "I just want to get a visual on Leclerc, see what's happening over there. I whispered to Dax, 'Hey, you don't happen to have a piece of paper with my phone number on it, do you?' I didn't get to slip it to him, or get a visual."
