West Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025: There is big news for the youth who dream of a job in railway. West Central Railway (West Central Railway-WCR) and Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) have taken out bumper vacancy on the posts of Apprentice. Through this recruitment process, the candidate will be selected for a total of 2865 posts. The application process is online. Eligible and interested candidates can apply through the official website wcr.indianrailways.gov.in. The last date to apply is 29 September 2025.

How many posts are recruited?

This time the Railways has extracted a large number of vacancies in different divisions and units.

  • Jabalpur Division (JBP): 1136 posts
  • Bhopal Division (BPL): 558 posts
  • Kota Division (Kota): 865 posts
  • CRWS Bhopal (CRWS BPL): 136 posts
  • WRS Kota: 151 posts
  • Headquarters, Jabalpur (HQ, JBP): 19 posts

What should be the qualification to apply?

Education qualification: The candidate has passed the 10th class or its equal examination with at least 50 percent marks. It is necessary to have a National Trade Certificate (ITI) issued by NCVT, SCVT in the relevant trade.

Age limit: The minimum age of the applicant should be 15 years and the maximum age should be 24 years (till 20 August 2025).

Application Fee: The application fee for all categories is Rs 141. The fee for the exempted class i.e. SC, ST, PWD, women is only Rs 41. Fees payment will have to be made only through online mode.

What is the selection process?

There will be no written examination or interview in this recruitment. Candidates will be selected completely on the basis of merit list. The merit list will be made from the average of the 10th Marx and ITI, trade marks. List trade wise, division, unit wise and community wise will be prepared. The final merit list will have as many names as there is a vacancy.
