Morrisons has made a major change to its Christmas Savers club loyalty scheme.

Shoppers could previously get printed vouchers to use in store for their festive shop - but now, vouchers for in store will be automatically loaded to your Morrisons More Card app.

If you want to use your voucher online, you will need to get an e-code. However, you must choose this option before October 30, 2025.

To do this, you'll need to log into your More Card account, go to the Christmas Savers club section and then select "manage club preference" where you will be given two options.

Morrisons More Card holders get a voucher worth £5, known as a Morrisons Fiver, for every 5,000 points earned in stores. But its Christmas Savers Club allows you to earn bonuses on your savings.

If you are signed up to the Christmas Savers Club and you have £49 saved, you will get a £1 bonus, while £97 saved will give you a £3 bonus.

Morrisons awards a £4 bonus for people who have £149 saved, while the maximum bonus of £6 is applied when you have saved £197. You can load your savings to your Christmas Savers Club between November 6 and December 31.

You have to manually sign up for the Christmas Savers Club. Morrisons isn't the only supermarket to offer a Christmas saver scheme. Tesco Clubcard holders get a bonus worth £1.50 when they save between £25 and £49.50.

The biggest bonus you can get is £12, which you get when you save between £200 and £360. If you're an Asda shopper, you can sign up to its Christmas Savings Card.

The cashback starts at £1 when you save between £30 and £79, rising to up to £15 when you save at least £280. Sainsbury's shoppers get £2.50 back on every £50 saved, up to a maximum of £25.

Save money in the supermarket
  • Keep an eye out for yellow sticker deals.
  • Look for discounts and voucher codes through websites like LatestDeals and HotUKDeals.
  • Sign up to mailing lists for brands and retailers you frequently use.
  • Pick up free supermarket magazines - they often have vouchers inside.
  • Try the Downshift challenge - this is where you swap branded goods for supermarket-own labels.
  • Meal prep to reduce impulse buys and spending on what you've already got in the cupboard.
  • Freeze any leftovers that can be eaten at a later date to avoid food waste.
