The box office debut of 'Lokah: Chapter 1 Chandra' has been remarkable. On its opening day (Thursday), the film generated ₹2.7 crore, solely from the Malayalam version. The following day (Friday), earnings increased to ₹4 crore, with ₹3.65 crore from Malayalam and ₹0.35 crore from Tamil, reflecting a 48.15% rise. The trend continued on Saturday (Day 3), with the film earning ₹7.6 crore—₹5.8 crore from Malayalam, ₹0.6 crore from Tamil, and ₹1.2 crore from Telugu, marking a significant 90% increase from Friday. By Sunday (Day 4), the film collected ₹10.1 crore, comprising ₹7.4 crore from Malayalam, ₹1.1 crore from Tamil, and ₹1.6 crore from Telugu, indicating a steady growth of 32.89%. Preliminary figures for Day 5 (Monday) suggest earnings of ₹6.65 crore, bringing the total box office collection for the first five days to around ₹31.05 crore.
'Lokah: Chapter 1' merges elements of Indian mythology, contemporary science fiction, and horror, marking the inception of the Wayfarer Cinematic Universe (WCU). The cast includes Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen, Sandy, along with Arun Kurian, Chandu Salimkumar, Nishanth Sagar, Raghunath Paleri, Vijayaraghavan, Nithya Shri, and Sarath Sabha.
