He said, “For 'Visaranai,' I, Dinesh, GV Prakash, and Kishore didn’t get a salary. I asked for 2.5 crores from Dhanush to make it, and he gave it without hearing the script. He even spent 3.5 crores for the Oscar campaign , and the film collected only 3.85 crores. We don’t get that kind of producer,” he said.
