Ishé Samuels-Smith (19) has rejoined Chelsea on a permanent deal, just weeks after joining RC Strasbourg Alsace on a permanent deal, and has now been loaned out to EFL Championship side Swansea City.

Samuels-Smith joined Strasbourg from fellow BlueCo-owned club Chelsea at the start of July for a reported fee of €7.5m. However, the England youth international did not make a single appearance for Liam Rosenior’s side. He has now made a swift exit. It was expected that the left-back would make the loan move to Swansea City, however, he has also exited Strasbourg on a permanent basis in the process.

Chelsea have announced that Samuels-Smith has rejoined the club, before being loaned out. The value of the transfer has not been disclosed, nor has the length of the Englishman’s new contract at Stamford Bridge. There were more dealings between Chelsea and Le Racing on deadline day, with Ben Chilwell completing a permanent move to the Meinau.
