The powerhouse vocalist recently shared why she ended up skipping the hype and didn’t cover the song herself.
Wendy reveals why she did not cover ‘Golden’ by HUNTRIXIn a small clip from an upcoming episode of the variety show ‘ Where is My Home ', Wendy spilled the beans as to why she did not choose to cover ‘Golden’ from the film ‘Kpop Demon Hunters’. During her appearance on the show, the singer revealed that the song was just too hard for her to properly cover.
She revealed, “I practiced the song at home, but the pitch was so high, I almost passed out. I didn’t want to do it unless I could deliver a perfect live version, so I didn’t record a video”. She also talked a little about her days as a trainee and how much she struggled, stating that it is a time that she would never want to go back to. “I joined SM through a global audition by chance, but I had to catch up with other trainees, which was so tough”, she added.
