Lucknow-Mahmudabad Fourlane Road: This road connecting Sitapur, Barabanki and Lucknow will be widened with 14 meters forelane. 1500 trees will be cut, industrial areas and passengers will get relief, cost around Rs 210 crore.

Sitapur, The Lucknow-Mahudabad road connecting Barabanki and Lucknow will now open new opportunities for transport and industrial sector by becoming a forelane. Executive Engineer Rajiv Kumar Rao has sent a proposal to the government through District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi. Under the scheme, the road will be built with a dividers by wide 14 meters, which will make the traffic smooth and safe.

New form of road widening from Lucknow to Mahmudabad

Earlier this route was 10 meters wide, but under the new proposal it will be widened 14 meters. Dividers, pavements and drainage for drainage will also be constructed on the road. A road of about 18 km from Lucknow to Tikaitanj will be developed as a forelane, so that the chair and Umra industrial area can be directly linked.

According to the survey of the Public Works Department, about 1500 trees will have to be cut along the road while making forelane. A letter has been sent to the forest department and sought permission for cutting of trees. The Executive Engineer said that along with development, greenery will also be taken care of.

This road connects with three districts and Nepal

The Lucknow-Madudabad road is not limited to Barabanki and Sitapur only. People coming and going to Nepal also reach Nepal via this route via the Bridge Bridge. Thousands of small and big vehicles are moved daily on the route, causing the problem of jam in industrial areas and towns.

Kursi-Deva route will also be connected to forelane

The process of making the Deva road a fourlane from the chair has started. The scheme includes 36 gram panchayats, who will get the benefit of highway. Light and plants will be planted on the divider. The estimated cost is around Rs 210 crore.

Due to the formation of a fourlane, people will be able to get rid of the chair jam and the investors of the industrial area will also get relief."

Mayank Singh, One Ranger, Deva: "Some trees have already been cut during road widening. Now about 1500 more trees will be cut from Behata to Tikaitganj, which have been identified."
