ICAI exams 2025 postponed: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has taken a major decision. Final and intermediate examinations have been postponed due to continuous rains and floods in many cities of Punjab and Chartered Accountants (CA) in Jammu. Students of these two states, whose examinations were to be held on 3 and 4 September 2025, will now have to wait a little. Know which cities of Punjab and Jammu have been postponed. According to the notice issued by ICAI, examinations have been postponed in only these cities of Punjab and Jammu-
- Amritsar
- Bathinda
- Jalandhar
- Ludhiana
- Mandi Gobindgarh
- Pathankot
- Patiala
- Sangrur
- Jammu City
- The examination will be done according to the already scheduled schedule.

There is no change in the old schedule of CA exam, know which exam?
ICAI has made it clear that the rest of the details and schedules related to the exam will remain the same as before.
- Final course (Group 1): 3, 6 and 8 September 2025
- Final course (Group 2): 10, 12 and 14 September 2025
- Intermediate Course (Group 1): 4, 7 and 9 September 2025
- Intermediate Course (Group 2): 11, 13 and 15 September 2025
The special thing is that the final examination paper-6 will be of four hours, while all the other examinations will be of three-three hours. In every examination, candidates will be given an additional 15 minute additional time to read the question paper.

Students whose examination is postponed should continue to keep an eye on ICAI.ORG, the official website of ICAI. The new dates will be announced there.
