Vulvar cancer: Valver cancer is a rare but severe cancer in women's private parts, ie Valva. The vulva consists of the outer part of the vagina, which contains layers of clitoris and labia, ie the outer and inside. This cancer often increases gradually and it can be difficult to identify in the initial stage. Valver cancer is mainly of two types of squamous cell carcinoma, which is found in most cases and melanoma, which is found less but may be severe. Special reasons include infection of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), prolonged private parts include irritation or infection, aging and weak immunity. Smoking and unclean lifestyle also increase its risk.

Symptoms of Valver cancer often appear gradually, but they should not be ignored. The most common symptoms include frequent itching or burning, abnormal lumps or swelling, changing skin color or abnormal bleeding. Many times women feel like pain, difficulty in urination or frequent wounds during intercourse, which is not good. White, red or dark spots may also be seen on the skin of the affected part. It can also affect the surrounding tissue and organs when cancer increases. If not paid attention to time, it can take a serious form. Therefore, it is very important to get a doctor checked immediately in case of such symptoms.

Why are young women being victims of this?

Dr. Saloni Chadha, former gynecologist at Safdarjung Hospital It says that earlier Valver cancer was mostly considered to be the disease of aged women, but in recent years, its cases are also increasing in young women. The biggest reason for this is HPV infection, which spreads through the intercourse. Changing lifestyle, early sexually active and unsafe intercourse increases the risk of this infection.

In addition, weak immune systems, stress, and lack of sleep also affect the body's immunity, which causes more effect of virus. Smoking and alcohol consumption also increases its risk in youth. Many times women ignore small problems in private parts and do not consult a doctor on time. This is the reason why the cancer is caught late. Lack of awareness and not getting health check-up from time to time is also a big reason that today young women are also falling victim to this disease.
