According to industry tracker Sacnilk, The Bengal Files has collected Rs 14.49 lakh so far, and the numbers are expected to rise. Meanwhile, the movie has sold 4,945 tickets and secured 911 screens across India. Amid the controversy, the movie still managed to make a decent early collection.
The Bengal Files marks the third film in Vivek Agnihotri's trilogy, including The Tashkent Files, The Kashmir Files, and now The Bengal Files. Ever since the trailer of Vivek Agnihotri's film was released, the movie has raised eyebrows. While many called the film a "hard-hitting truth," others labeled it a propaganda movie.
