Important Update on SSC CGL 2025



The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the release of the city intimation slip for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025. This allows candidates to identify the city where their exam will take place. To access this information, candidates must log in to the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.


Revised Exam Schedule

Initially scheduled from August 13 to August 30, 2025, the SSC CGL Tier-1 exam has been rescheduled. The new exam dates are set from September 12 to September 26, 2025, with sessions also occurring on weekends.


Admit Card Availability

Candidates can expect to download their admit cards 2 to 3 days prior to their exam date. For instance, if a candidate's exam is on September 15, the admit card will be available on September 12 or 13. The admit card will include essential details such as the exam center address, reporting time, and necessary instructions.


Steps to Check Exam City Information

To view the exam city details, follow these steps:


1. Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.


2. Click on the link for SSC CGL City Intimation Slip 2025 on the homepage.


3. Enter your registration number and password or date of birth on the login page.


4. After submission, your exam city information will be displayed on the screen.


5. Print this information for your records.


Exam Center Guidelines

Candidates must bring a valid photo ID to the exam center. Entry will be denied without both the admit card and ID proof. It is advisable to arrive at the exam center ahead of the scheduled time and adhere to all instructions provided on the admit card. Strict measures will be enforced against the possession of electronic devices or any prohibited items during the examination.
