Vivek Agnihotri’s upcoming film ‘The Bengal Files’ is in a lot of difficulty about the release abroad. Starring Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher and Darshan Kumar, the film will not be released on time in Mauritius, UAE, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
The international release censorship of this controversial film has been averted due to hurdles, and it will no longer be released on the scheduled date on 5 September. However, ‘The Bengal Files’ will be released in theaters on the fixed date in India.
According to media reports, the production team said that the Censor Board of Mauritius has not yet been approved, due to which the release had to be postponed indefinitely. The film is also in the review process in UAE, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. In these countries, strict rules are applied to films made on political and socially sensitive subjects.
