PM Kisan 21st Installment: Financial assistance is provided to farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Scheme. Under this scheme, the eligible farmers are given an amount of Rs 6,000 in three equal installments every year. So far 20 installments have been released under this scheme. The beneficiaries are now waiting for the 21st installment. However, e-KYC has been made mandatory for farmers before getting the 21st installment. According to the plan, each installment is usually issued in the account at an interval of about four months. For example, the 18th installment was released in October 2024, followed by 19th installment in February 2025 and 20th installment in August 2025. Given this pattern, the 21st installment is likely to come in November-December 2025. However, no official confirmation has been made by the government yet. Let us tell you that under this scheme, direct financial assistance is given to the farmers. In this scheme, a installment of Rs 2000 is given three times every year, that is, a total of 6000 rupees are given annually. So far, crores of farmers have taken advantage of this scheme and 20 installments have been distributed. E-KYC has been made mandatory. E-KYC is mandatory for farmers to avail the scheme. This can be done through OTP, biometric or authentication from the face. The facility of certification from the face is available on the PM-farmer mobile app and portal, so that farmers in far-flung areas can also easily do e-KYC.
